Shannon Ferguson is a passionate educator who has been working with diverse groups of students for the last 10+ years in Canada and internationally. She has a university background in Special Education, English and Social Sciences.

Shannon has taken on the role of Director of Curriculum and Instruction this year and is thriving in her role. This role is in addition to her homeroom work with our eldest students in the school.

Much of her Shannon’s career has been spent helping individual students receive what they need academically and socially in order to thrive and be confident learners. Shannon has loved being at The Woods as she recognizes that in this particular school environment, we can truly and meaningfully foster each students' cognitive, social and physical development.
